In 2005, CS Glaziers saw the launch of a new product – Tuff Cymru™ Toughened Safety Glass – which is the only toughened safety glass produced in North Wales.
With our new Efco toughening plant, with full air aspiration, we now manufacture toughened glass as small as 300mm x 200mm and as large as 1600mm x 3000mm and from 4mm thick up to 19mm thick kitemarked.
It is available in annealed, all Pilkington’s pattern range, ‘K’ glass and soft coated glass. As well as being used in windows, doors, etc., it can also be used for shower doors, screens, splash-backs and worktops.
We can supply toughened glass with shapes, cut-outs, holes and polished edges in clear or figured glass.
In May 2006 we obtained our Kitemark Licence KM502606 and our BSEN12600. The Kitemark is the symbol of trust, integrity and quality.
