Pilkington K Glass
Pilkington K Glass has been specially developed for use in double glazed units to produce the ultimate in heat retention for your home. An ingenious coating on the glass surface reflects heat from radiators / fires etc. back into the room, while still filtering the sun's rays through the glass into your room, where the warmth is then trapped. Heat loss can be reduced by up to two thirds in comparison with ordinary glass and proves very effective for reducing condensation. Pilkington K Glass can be toughened to increase security in your home.
Self-Cleaning Glass!
Self-cleaning glass has been described as an impossible dream, however following an intensive Research & Development programme by Pilkington, the world's leading glass manufacturer, Pilkington Activ™ does just that! Its unique double action uses the force of nature to help keep the glass free from organic dirt, giving you not only the practical benefit of less cleaning, but also clearer, better looking windows.
Textured Glass
We can offer you a range of textured glasses. Choose textured glass to add privacy or as a decorative feature to enhance your home. All textured glasses can be toughened for added security and safety.
Anti-Sun Glass
If you have a problem with strong sunlight or require an ultra modern look for your home, tinted anti-sun glass could be the answer. Anti-Sun glass is available in bronze, grey, green and blue and can be toughened or laminated for safety.
Fire Glass
The Pilkington Pyrostop™ range is a clear, laminated fully insulating fire and impact resistant glass that offers the highest levels of fire protection (Integrity and Insulation).
Pilkington Pyroshield™ is wired glass for fire-resistance. A fire integrity only product, it will restrict the spread of flames and hot gases for up to 120 minutes. It is available in both clear and textured versions.
Mirrors
In line polisher
Mirrors can be supplied in 4mm or 6mm, with polished edges, bevelled edges, and with holes for fixing.
We can also supply mirrors with safety backing to protect against possible injury resulting from breakage. This makes it the ideal choice for applications anywhere in the home where there is a greater risk of accidental damage.
We also stock framed mirrors, these can be seen on display in our DIY shop.
Our DIY shop also stocks domehead screws for fixing mirrors along with mirror adhesives.
